Feelings & Zajil bot

Turns posts into neat embeds, and lets members send messages without their name.

Getting started

The Feelings bot does two things. Feelings: messages in the channels you pick are re-posted as neat embeds. Zajil (carrier pigeon): members send a message to another member through the bot, without their name showing. Do these steps in order.

  1. Invite the bot to the right server

    Invite the bot to the server your subscription is for. Get the invite link from the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server. The bot only works in that server and leaves any other server right away.

  2. Give the bot a role with the right permissions

    Give the bot View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, Add Reactions and Manage Messages. Manage Messages is needed to delete the original message in Feelings channels and to remove wrong delete reactions. Administrator is the easy way.

  3. Know the prefix

    The default prefix is +, for example +setup. Mentioning the bot also works, for example @bot setup. This is handy if you forget the prefix or change it. Members use the same prefix for Zajil in DMs (+send).

  4. Know who the owners are

    All commands are for owners: the subscription owner and the extra owners you add with +setowner @member. See them with +ownerlist. For anyone else, commands do nothing and show no error. Members don't need any command: they just write in a Feelings channel or use the Zajil panel.

  5. Open the settings menu

    Type @bot setup (or +setup). Pick an option, then type or attach your answer in the same channel within 60 seconds. Sending a channel that's already set removes it. The menu stays open for 4 minutes.

  6. Add a Feelings channel

    Pick تحديد شات الفيلنق and mention the channel. From now on every message there is deleted and posted again by the bot as an embed with the member's name and avatar. You can add as many channels as you want.

  7. Add the extras for that channel (optional)

  8. Set up Zajil

    Pick تحديد شات الزاجل and mention the channel where Zajil messages are posted. Then pick تحديد شات الارسال للزاجل, mention the channel for the panel and send its text or image. Optional: تحديد لوق الزاجل for a private log that shows who sent each message.

  9. Pick the colour (optional)

    Pick لون الامبيد and type a code like #ff66aa. Feelings posts and DM Zajil messages use it. Without it they're white.

  10. What members do

    In a Feelings channel they just write. For Zajil they press إرسال زاجل on the panel, type the member's ID and the message, or DM the bot +send <@member | ID> <message>. Check everything with اعدادات البوت in @bot setup.

Examples use the default prefix +. If you changed it, type yours instead.

Who can use a command?

Owners only
The subscription owner and the extra owners you add (with setowner or from vip). Being the server owner isn't enough.

    Shows or changes the bot's prefix.

    Also works as +setprefix. With nothing after it, it shows the current prefix. If you forget the prefix, mention the bot instead: @bot prefix +. The prefix is also used for Zajil messages sent in DMs (+send).

    Changes the bot's avatar.

  • +setbanner

    Changes the bot's profile banner.

  • +setgame

    Who can use it: Owners only
    Premium

    Changes the bot's activity (Playing, Watching...) or its status (Online, Dnd...).

    Usage
    +setgame <activity text | status>
    Example
    +setgame Nova Lounge

    Also works as +game. With text, the bot asks you to pick 1 Playing, 2 Watching, 3 Listening, 4 Streaming or 0 Cancel. With +setgame status, pick 1 Online, 2 Idle, 3 Dnd, 4 Invisible or 0 Cancel. Answer with the number within 60 seconds; Arabic numerals work too.

  • +setname

    Premium

    Changes the bot's name.

    Usage
    +setname <new name>
    Example
    +setname Nova Feelings

    Also works as +sn. The bot reacts ✅ when it's done.

    Heads up: Discord limits name changes. If you get يرجى الانتظار يتم تغير الاسم بوقت سريع ، او الاسم غير صالح . wait about 30 minutes or try another name.

  • +vip

    Also works aseditfate
    Who can use it: Owners only

    Opens the Bot Settings panel: name, avatar, banner, activity, status, prefix, owners, embed colour and restart.

    Also works as +edit, +fate or @bot vip. The panel shows your prefix, who the bot is registered to, when the subscription ends and the subscription number. Pick an option and answer in the same channel within 60 seconds. The panel stays open for 4 minutes.

    Moves the bot to another server.

    Usage
    +setserver <new server ID>
    Example
    +setserver 123456789012345678

    Also works as +setguild. The bot replies with the new server and an invite link for it, then leaves the current server right away. Use the link to add it to the new server. DM Zajil messages then go to the new server.

    Heads up: There's no confirmation. Double-check the ID: with a wrong ID the bot still leaves. You can also change the server from the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server.

  • +ownerlist

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Shows the extra owners.

    Members who left the server are removed from the list. If there are none you get قائمة الاونرات فارغة .

  • +setowner

    Also works asowners
    Who can use it: Owners only

    Adds or removes an extra owner.

    Usage
    +setowner <@member | ID>

    +setowner @Omar

    Also works as +owners. Run it again on the same member to remove them. ✅ means added, ☑️ means removed. Owners can use every command, including @bot setup and @bot vip.

  • +restart

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Restarts the bot.

    The bot reacts 👾 and comes back after a few seconds. Settings are kept.

What each panel and menu does, and how to set it up.

Pick the Feelings channels and add a separator, reactions and a delete emoji to each one.

What's in it

  • تفعيل/تعطيل نظام الفيلنق: turns Feelings off or on in every channel. On by default.
  • تحديد شات الفيلنق: adds or removes a Feelings channel.
  • تحديد الفاصل الخاص بالفيلنق: separator image for one channel.

How to set it up

  1. Type @bot setup.
  2. Pick تحديد شات الفيلنق and mention the channel.
  3. For the extras, pick the option, mention the same channel, then attach the image or send the emojis within 60 seconds. Type none to remove one.

Common mistakes

  • Picking an extra for a channel that isn't a Feelings channel: ❌ لا يوجد نظام فيلنق مفعل على الشات المحدد.
  • Sending emojis from another server. Only default emojis and this server's emojis are accepted.
  • Sending the channel again in تحديد شات الفيلنق to change its extras. That removes the channel and all its extras.
  • Reading ☑️ تم تعطيل نظام الفيلنق. as "done". It means Feelings is now off; pick the option again to turn it back on.

Settings menu: Zajil and colour

What's in it

  • تفعيل/تعطيل نظام الزاجل: turns all of Zajil off or on.
  • تفعيل/تعطيل نظام الزاجل بالخاص: turns only DM Zajil off or on.
  • تحديد شات الزاجل: where Zajil messages are posted.
  • تحديد شات الارسال للزاجل: sends the Zajil panel.
  • تحديد لوق الزاجل: the private log.
  • تحديد الفاصل الخاص بالزاجل, تحديد الايموجات الخاصه بالزاجل: extras for Zajil messages.
  • لون الامبيد: colour for Feelings posts and DM Zajil messages.
  • اعدادات البوت: shows everything that's set.

How to set it up

  1. Type @bot setup.
  2. Pick تحديد شات الزاجل and mention the channel.
  3. Pick تحديد شات الارسال للزاجل, mention the panel channel, then type the panel text and/or attach an image.
  4. Pick تحديد لوق الزاجل and mention a staff-only channel.

Common mistakes

  • Sending the panel before setting the Zajil channel. Members then get ❌ النظام معطل حالياّ.
  • Using a public channel as the log. The log shows who sent each Zajil.
  • Typing a colour without # or a broken code. Use a full 6-digit code like #ff66aa; a broken code stops Feelings posts.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting Zajil fields before any Zajil channel is set. They show غير محدد until then.

Feelings channels

What's in it

  • The member's name and avatar, the text, and the image if there is one.
  • A video is sent as a second message under the embed.
  • Your reaction emojis, the delete emoji and the separator image.

How to set it up

  1. Add the channel in @bot setup > تحديد شات الفيلنق.
  2. Write a test message there and check the result.

Common mistakes

  • Using a Feelings channel for chat or commands. Every message is re-posted, yours too.
  • Expecting other files (PDF, audio) to be re-posted. They stay as normal messages.
  • The bot can't delete messages there. Give it Manage Messages.

Zajil panel

Members press a button, fill a short form and the message is posted in the Zajil channel without their name.

What's in it

  • إرسال زاجل: opens the form (آيدي الشخص and الرسالة).
  • الشرح: a short how-to, shown only to the member.

How to set it up

  1. Set the Zajil channel first (تحديد شات الزاجل).
  2. Pick تحديد شات الارسال للزاجل, mention the channel, then send the text and/or image.

Common mistakes

  • Members typing a mention or a name in آيدي الشخص. It must be the member's ID: ❌ لم يتم العثور على الشخص المطلوب.

Zajil by DM

Members DM the bot +send <@member | ID> <message> and the message is posted in the Zajil channel as an embed.

What's in it

  • +send, +زاجل or +ارسل, with the server's prefix.
  • Any other DM gets a short usage hint.

How to set it up

  1. Set the Zajil channel.
  2. Leave تفعيل/تعطيل نظام الزاجل بالخاص on (it's on by default).
  3. Tell members the command, for example +send 123456789012345678 Love You !.

Common mistakes

  • Attaching an image or video. Nothing is posted and the bot doesn't reply; send text only.
  • A wrong ID or mention. The bot doesn't reply at all.
  • Using the old prefix after you changed it. DMs use the server's current prefix.

Zajil log

A staff channel with a copy of every Zajil and who sent it.

What's in it

  • الرسالة: jumps to the Zajil message.

How to set it up

  1. Type @bot setup, pick تحديد لوق الزاجل and mention a staff-only channel.

Bot Settings panel

Change how the bot looks and who controls it.

What's in it

  • اسم البوت, افتار البوت, بنر البوت: name, avatar and banner.
  • لعب البوت and حالة البوت: activity and status.
  • برفكس البوت: the prefix.
  • اضافة/ازالة اونر: add or remove an owner.
  • تغير لون الامبيد: embed colour.
  • ازالة افتار البوت, ازالة بنر البوت, اعادة تشغيل.

How to set it up

  1. Type @bot vip.
  2. Pick an option.
  3. Type or attach your answer within 60 seconds.

Common mistakes

  • Changing the name many times in a row. Discord limits it; wait about 30 minutes.
  • Looking here to move the bot to another server. Use +setserver or the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server.

Troubleshooting

Common problems and how to fix them.

The bot doesn't respond to any command

How to fix it

  • Use the prefix + or mention the bot, for example @bot setup.
  • Make sure the bot can see the channel and send messages in it.
  • All commands are for owners. Check +ownerlist.

Messages in the Feelings channel stay as they are

How to fix it

  • Check the channel is listed in @bot setup > اعدادات البوت.
  • Feelings may be off. Pick تفعيل/تعطيل نظام الفيلنق until you get ✅ تم تفعيل نظام الفيلنق.
  • Give the bot Embed Links, Attach Files and Manage Messages in that channel.
  • A broken colour code stops the posts. Set لون الامبيد again with a full code like #ff66aa, or none.
  • Only text, images and videos are re-posted. Other files are left alone.

The delete emoji doesn't delete a Feelings post

How to fix it

  • Only the member who wrote the post can delete it. Other people's reactions are removed.

إرسال زاجل says ❌ النظام معطل حالياّ.

How to fix it

  • No Zajil channel is set, or Zajil is off. Set it with تحديد شات الزاجل and check اعدادات البوت.
  • If the Zajil channel was deleted, set a new one.

The form says ❌ لم يتم العثور على الشخص المطلوب.

How to fix it

  • Type the member's ID, not a mention or a name. Turn on Developer Mode in Discord, right-click the member and pick Copy User ID.
  • The member has to be in the server.

The bot doesn't reply to +send in DMs

How to fix it

  • Zajil or DM Zajil is off, or no Zajil channel is set. Check اعدادات البوت.
  • The ID or mention is wrong. Use the member's ID.
  • An image or video was attached. Send text only.
  • Use the server's prefix. If you changed it, the DM command changes too.

Emojis are rejected: ❌ لم يتم ارفاق ايموجيات صالحة (سيرفر أو افتراضية).

How to fix it

  • Use default emojis or emojis from your own server. Emojis from other servers aren't accepted.

Messages with Discord invite links get deleted

How to fix it

  • The bot deletes any message with discord.gg in every channel, unless the member has Manage Messages. Give that permission to the roles that may post invites.

The bot left my server

How to fix it

  • The bot only stays in the server your subscription is for.
  • Change the server from the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server, or with +setserver <server ID> from the current server.

The prefix changed back to +

How to fix it

  • The prefix resets when the bot is removed from the server and added again. Set it again with @bot prefix <new>.
