Fate Store ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information used by our Discord bot and web dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, how it is stored, and the choices available to users and server administrators.

Information We Collect

Depending on the features enabled by a server administrator, Fate Store may process or store the following information:

  • Discord User ID – used to identify users, authenticate dashboard access, manage trusted users, and provide user-related features.
  • Discord Server (Guild) ID – used to identify the Discord server and store its configuration.
  • Role and Channel IDs – used to configure automatic roles, moderation rules, protected channels, excluded channels, and other server settings.
  • Member Information – information required for member-related features such as member management, account-age protection, automatic roles, and server statistics.
  • Moderation and Protection Settings – such as spam protection, bad-word filtering, invite filtering, link filtering, duplicate-message detection, mass-mention protection, and other configured moderation rules.
  • Level and XP Data – information related to member activity and progression, including XP, levels, and configured level rewards.
  • Server Statistics – information such as member joins, member leaves, and message activity statistics used to provide server analytics through the dashboard.
  • Subscription Information – where applicable, information such as subscription status, plan, and expiry date may be stored to manage premium features.

Message and Moderation Data

Some moderation features require the bot to process message content or message-related information in order to detect configured violations.

This may include detecting spam, repeated messages, duplicate messages, prohibited words, Discord invites, links, excessive capitalization, emoji spam, and mass mentions.

Message-related information is processed only to provide the configured moderation and protection functionality. We do not intentionally use message content for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

How We Use Your Data

Information processed by Fate Store may be used to:

  • Provide and operate the Discord bot and web dashboard.
  • Authenticate authorized users and server administrators.
  • Configure and operate server protection and moderation systems.
  • Detect spam, abuse, unwanted links, invites, and other configured violations.
  • Manage automatic roles and member-related automation.
  • Provide the Level and XP system and associated rewards.
  • Generate server statistics and activity analytics.
  • Provide server logs and administrative features.
  • Manage premium or subscription-based features where applicable.
  • Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the application.

Data Storage and Security

Configuration and account-related information may be stored on external infrastructure required to operate the Fate Store bot and dashboard.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.

Access to stored information is limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and secure the application.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested features, maintain server configuration, provide statistics and progression systems, comply with applicable obligations, and maintain the security of the service. When information is no longer required, it may be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent user information. Information may only be disclosed to service providers required to operate the application, when necessary to provide a requested service, protect the application, comply with legal obligations, or prevent abuse.

Discord

Fate Store operates through Discord and uses Discord's APIs and services to provide its functionality. Discord information is processed according to the permissions granted to the application and the applicable Discord policies and terms.

User and Server Administrator Rights

Users and authorized server administrators may contact us to:

  • Request information about data associated with their account or server.
  • Request deletion of stored information where applicable.
  • Request clarification regarding how information is used.
  • Request assistance with disabling or removing the bot from a Discord server.

Certain data may need to be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or legitimate operational purposes.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the application, its features, or applicable requirements. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
