Temp Rooms bot

Members get their own voice room and control it from a panel.

Getting started

Set up Temp Rooms in a few minutes. Members join one voice channel and get their own room that they control from a panel.

  1. Invite the bot to the right server

    Invite the bot to the server your subscription is for. Get the invite link from the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server: press تعديل, then ارسال الروابط. The bot only works in that server and leaves any other server right away.

  2. Give the bot a role with the right permissions

    The bot creates and deletes voice channels, moves and mutes members and edits channel permissions, so it needs View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Manage Messages, Manage Channels, Manage Roles (permissions), Move Members, Mute Members and Connect. Administrator is the easy way. Put the bot's role above the members' roles in Server Settings > Roles, and make sure it can see and manage the temp rooms category.

  3. Know the prefix

    The default prefix is $, for example $setup. Mentioning the bot also works, for example @bot setup. This is handy if you forget the prefix. Change it with $prefix or from @bot vip.

  4. Know who the owners are

    Every command is for owners: the subscription owner and the extra owners you add with $setowner @member. See them with $ownerlist. For anyone else, commands do nothing and show no error. Members don't need commands at all: they use the create channel and the control panel.

  5. Build the system

    Type @bot setup and pick اعداد النظام. The bot creates a Temp Rooms category with a temp-control chat (members can't type there) and a Click Here .. voice channel. To use your own channels instead, pick الكاتوقري, الروم الصوتي and الشات الكتابي one by one and mention each channel within 60 seconds.

  6. Send the control panel

    Type $control #temp-control (or pick رسالة التحكم in @bot setup). The bot posts the Temp Control panel with 13 buttons. You can write your own text after the channel, or attach an image to show it instead of the embed. Only the newest panel works, so delete old ones.

  7. Let the music bots follow (optional)

    Put your Fate music bots in one voice channel and pick it in @bot setup > روم الموزك. Each new room then pulls one bot from there. In the Music bot, type settempall <temp rooms category ID> so the bots stay in the temporary rooms instead of going back to their 24/7 room. See settempall in the Music bot docs (/docs/song).

  8. Daily use

    A member joins Click Here .. and gets a voice room named after them, moved in automatically. They manage it from the control panel: rename, set a limit, lock, hide, block or allow members, kick, mute and give the room to someone else. The room is deleted when the last person leaves. Turn the whole system off or on any time with $settemp.

Commands

Examples use the default prefix $. If you changed it, type yours instead.

Who can use a command?

Owners only
The subscription owner and the extra owners you add (with setowner or from vip). Being the server owner isn't enough.

Setup4

  • $help

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Shows the bot's commands with a Support button.

    Only owners get a reply. Members don't need commands: they join the create channel and use the control panel.

    Heads up: The list shows $owners, which is the same as $setowner.

  • $control

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Posts the room control panel (13 buttons) that members use to manage their temporary room.

    Your command message is deleted. Without a channel, the panel goes in the current channel. The panel is an embed titled Temp Control with the text للتحكم بالروم الضغط على الازرار, or your own text written after the channel. If you attach an image, the bot posts the image instead of the embed. The channel you post in becomes the control chat. @bot setup > رسالة التحكم does the same.

    Heads up: Only the newest panel works. Sending a new one makes the old panel's buttons stop responding, so delete the old one.

  • $settemp

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Turns the temporary rooms system on or off.

    The bot reacts ✅ when the system is turned on and ☑️ when it's turned off. While it's off, joining the create channel does nothing. Rooms that already exist keep working and are still deleted when they're empty. @bot setup > تفعيل/تعطيل النظام does the same.

  • $setup

    Opens the Temp Rooms settings menu: build the system in one click, send the control panel, or pick the category, create channel, control chat and music room yourself.

    Also works as $settings or $setting. Mention the bot (@bot setup) if you don't know the prefix. Pick اعداد النظام to have the bot create everything, or set each part yourself: for الكاتوقري, الروم الصوتي, الشات الكتابي, روم الموزك and رسالة التحكم, mention the channel or paste its ID in the same channel within 60 seconds. Picking the same channel again removes it. The menu stays open for 4 minutes and only the person who opened it can use it.

    Heads up: اعداد النظام deletes the category, create channel and control chat that were set before, even if they're your own channels. The rooms inside the old category are not deleted.

  • $prefix

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Shows or changes the bot prefix.

    Usage
    $prefix [new prefix]
    Example
    $prefix !

    Also works as $setprefix. Without a value it shows the current prefix. Mentioning the bot always works as a prefix, for example @bot prefix $. You can also change it from @bot vip > برفكس البوت.

  • $setavatar

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Changes the bot's profile picture.

    Usage
    $setavatar <image link>  (or attach an image)

    Also works as $sa. Paste a link or attach the image to the command. The bot reacts ✅ when done. If you change it too often you get يرجى الانتظار يتم تغير الاقتار بوقت سريع .

  • $setbanner

    Changes the bot's profile banner.

  • $setgame

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Changes the bot's activity text, or its online status.

    Usage
    $setgame <text> | $setgame status
    Example
    $setgame Nova Lounge

    Also works as $game. With text, the bot asks you to type a number: 1 Playing, 2 Watching, 3 Listening, 4 Streaming, 0 Cancel. With status, the numbers are 1 Online, 2 Idle, 3 Dnd, 4 Invisible, 0 Cancel. You have 60 seconds to answer.

  • $setname

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Changes the bot's username.

    Usage
    $setname <name>

    $setname Nova Rooms

    Also works as $sn. The name must be 2 to 32 characters. The bot reacts ✅ when done. If it fails you get يرجى الانتظار يتم تغير الاسم بوقت سريع ، او الاسم غير صالح .

    Heads up: Discord limits how often a bot can change its name. If it fails, wait about 30 minutes or try another name.

  • $vip

    Also works aseditfate
    Who can use it: Owners only

    Opens the Bot Settings panel to change the bot's name, avatar, banner, activity, status, prefix and owners, or restart it.

    Also works as $edit or $fate. Mention the bot (@bot vip) if you don't know the prefix. The panel shows the prefix, who the bot is registered to, when the subscription ends and the subscription number. Pick an option, then type or attach your answer in the same channel within 60 seconds. The panel stays open for 4 minutes and only the person who opened it can use it.

Owners4

  • $setserver

    Moves the bot to another server.

    Usage
    $setserver <server ID>

    Also works as $setguild. The bot replies with an invite link for the new server, then leaves the current one. Use that link to add it to the new server. You can also change the server from the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server: press تعديل, then تغير السيرفر.

    Heads up: The bot leaves your server right away. Settings are saved per server, so in the new server you run @bot setup and send the control panel again.

  • $ownerlist

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Lists the extra owners you added.

  • $setowner

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Adds or removes an extra bot owner.

    Also works as $owners. Owners can use every command, including @bot setup, $control and @bot vip. Run it again on the same member to remove them. The bot reacts ✅ when added and ☑️ when removed. You can also do it from @bot vip > اضافة/ازالة اونر.

    Heads up: Owners can rebuild the system with اعداد النظام, which deletes the current category, create channel and control chat. Only add people you trust.

  • $restart

    Who can use it: Owners only

    Restarts the bot.

    The bot reacts 👾 and comes back after a few seconds. Settings, the control panel and open temporary rooms are kept.

Common mistakes

  • Answering after 60 seconds. Pick the option again.
  • Mentioning a text channel for الروم الصوتي, or a channel for الكاتوقري. You get **❌ يرجى كتابة منشن او ايدي صحيح.**.
  • Picking the channel that's already set. That removes it.

Quick setup

One click creates everything the system needs.

What's in it

How to set it up

  1. Type @bot setup and pick اعداد النظام.

Common mistakes

  • Running it again later. It deletes the category, create channel and control chat set before, even your own.
  • Expecting the panel to be posted. Send it yourself after.
  • Missing Manage Channels. You get **❌ غير قادر على انشاء الكاتوقري.**.

Using your own channels

Pick the category, the create channel and the control chat yourself.

What's in it

  • الكاتوقري: where rooms are created. Rooms copy its permissions.
  • الروم الصوتي: the channel members join to get a room.
  • الشات الكتابي: where room owners get access and the notice is posted.

How to set it up

  1. Type @bot setup and pick الكاتوقري, then mention the category or paste its ID.
  2. Do the same for الروم الصوتي and الشات الكتابي.
  3. Send the control panel in the control chat with $control.

Common mistakes

  • Setting only the create channel. Without the category nothing happens.
  • Putting the create channel inside a category where members can't connect.
  • Category permissions that hide rooms from everyone. Every new room copies them.

Music room

Each new room pulls one music bot from the music room.

What's in it

  • روم الموزك: the voice channel where music bots wait.
  • Music bot settempall <category>: keeps them in temporary rooms (see settempall in the Music bot docs, /docs/song).

How to set it up

  1. Put your Fate music bots in one voice channel.
  2. Type @bot setup, pick روم الموزك and mention that channel.
  3. In the Music bot type settempall <temp rooms category ID>.

Common mistakes

  • Skipping settempall. The music bot goes back to its 24/7 room.
  • An empty music room. Rooms then get no bot.
  • Expecting several bots per room. Only one moves per new room.

Sending the control panel

Post the panel members use, and make that chat the control chat.

What's in it

  • $control #channel [text]: posts the panel with your text.
  • Attach an image to $control to show it instead of the embed.
  • @bot setup > رسالة التحكم: the same from the menu.

How to set it up

  1. Type $control #temp-control.
  2. Optional: add your own text after the channel, or attach an image.
  3. Delete any older panel.

Common mistakes

  • Keeping several panels. Only the newest one works.
  • Letting members chat in the control chat. Deny Send Messages there; the bot opens it for 30 seconds when needed.

Room control panel

Common mistakes

  • Pressing buttons without owning a room. Nothing happens.
  • Using an old panel. Only the newest one works.
  • Expecting منع to remove someone already inside. Press طرد عضو too.

Renaming the room

A form asks for the new name.

What's in it

  • الاسم الجديد: 2 to 50 characters.

How to set it up

  1. Press تغير الاسم.
  2. Type the name and submit.

Common mistakes

  • A one-character name. You get يرجى كتابة اسم صحيح.
  • Renaming more than twice in 10 minutes. Discord delays the change for a few minutes.

User limit

Set how many members fit in the room.

What's in it

  • الحد الجديد: 1 to 99.

How to set it up

  1. Press حد الروم.
  2. Type the number and submit.

Common mistakes

  • Letters or symbols. You get يرجى ارفاق الحد بالارقام .

Lock and hide

Close the room or hide it from everyone with one click.

How to set it up

  1. Press the button.
  2. Use السماح to let specific members in while it's locked or hidden.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting the lock to kick people inside. Use طرد عضو.
  • Roles allowed by the category can still join. Ask the server owners.

Member buttons

Transfer, block, allow, kick, mute and unmute ask you to mention the member.

What's in it

  • نقل الملكية, منع, السماح: any member.
  • طرد عضو, ميوت, فك ميوت: only members inside your room.

How to set it up

  1. Press the button. The bot replies يرجى ارفاق منشن الشخص الان ...
  2. Mention the member or paste their ID in the control chat within 30 seconds.
  3. Your message is deleted and the reply updates.

Common mistakes

  • Waiting more than 30 seconds. Press the button again.
  • Kicking or muting someone who isn't in your room: غير متواجد بروم القروب.

How rooms are created and deleted

Joining the create channel makes a room; the room goes when it's empty.

What's in it

  • Name: the member's server nickname.
  • Permissions: copied from the category, plus mute, deafen and move for the owner.
  • Notice in the control chat, deleted after 6 seconds.

How to set it up

  1. Join Click Here ...
  2. You're moved into your new room.
  3. Leave it and it's deleted once no people are left.

Common mistakes

  • Jumping from your room straight to the create channel. Nothing happens; leave first.
  • Bots left alone in a room. Bots don't count, so the room is deleted anyway.

Bot Settings panel (vip)

Change the bot's name, avatar, banner, activity, status, prefix and owners, or restart it.

What's in it

  • اسم البوت, افتار البوت, بنر البوت, لعب البوت, حالة البوت, برفكس البوت.
  • اضافة/ازالة اونر: add or remove an owner.
  • اعادة تشغيل: restart. Nothing is lost.

How to set it up

  1. Mention the bot and type vip: @bot vip.
  2. Pick an option and answer within 60 seconds.

Troubleshooting

Something not working? Check these first.

The bot doesn't respond to any command

How to fix it

  • Use the prefix $ or mention the bot, for example @bot setup.
  • Make sure the bot can see the channel and send messages in it.
  • Every command is for owners only. Check $ownerlist.

The bot left my server

How to fix it

  • The bot only stays in the server your subscription is for.
  • Change the server from the subscriptions control channel in the Fate Store server: تعديل > تغير السيرفر.

Joining the create channel does nothing

How to fix it

  • The system may be off. Type $settemp and look for ✅.
  • Both the category and the create channel must be set and still exist. Run اعداد النظام again, or set them in @bot setup.
  • Give the bot Manage Channels and Move Members, and let it see the category.
  • If the member jumped from their own room, they must leave it first.

The control panel buttons don't do anything

How to fix it

  • Only members who own a temporary room can use them.
  • Only the newest panel works. Send a new one with $control #channel and delete the old ones.
  • For member buttons, mention the member in the control chat within 30 seconds.

Members can't type the mention in the control chat

How to fix it

  • The bot opens the chat for that member for 30 seconds only, after they press a member button. It needs Manage Channels (permissions) on the control chat.
  • Members should press the button first, then type.

The music bot doesn't come to my room

How to fix it

  • Set روم الموزك in @bot setup and keep a Fate music bot in that room.
  • Only one bot moves per new room, so each room needs a free bot waiting.
  • In the Music bot use settempall <temp rooms category ID> so the bot isn't pulled back to its 24/7 room (see settempall in the Music bot docs, /docs/song).

My channels were deleted after اعداد النظام

How to fix it

  • Quick setup deletes the category, create channel and control chat that were set before, and creates new ones.
  • To keep your own channels, set them with الكاتوقري, الروم الصوتي and الشات الكتابي instead.

Rooms are visible to everyone or hidden from everyone

How to fix it

  • New rooms copy the category's permissions. Edit the category's permissions, and new rooms follow.
